What is a Fitness Consultation Anyway?

Our opportunity to focus on good conversation, understand each other as humans,  and create a strategy to meet your goals.

 

Think of it as the Fitness Interview you can't fail!

...So who's it for?

Every Saltee Fitness client begins with a Fitness Consultation. It ensures we understand your goals, background, and needs before recommending any training plan.

 

This step is especially helpful if you’re returning to fitness after time away, managing past injuries, feeling unsure where to start, or deciding between in-person and virtual training. No matter your experience level, the consultation helps us make sure your training starts in the right direction.

And why is it important?

​A Fitness Consultation provides the opportunity for a trainer and client to learn more about each other, discuss goals and feel out if this partnership is a good fit!  This is our opportunity to meet and greet before discussing your current and future Health and Fitness. 

What happens next?
After your Fitness Consultation, you won’t be asked to make an on-the-spot decision.  By the end of the session, we’ll review what you’re looking for, discuss the training options that fit you and your lifestyle, as well as answer any questions you have.
 
If it feels like a good fit, we’ll outline next steps and available training options. If not, you’ll still leave with clarity and direction. Many clients choose to move forward after their consultation, and when they do, the cost of the consultation is applied toward their training package.
